Cariñena Rosé 2017
Floral and vegetal aromas, red berries, a touch of pomegranate fruit and almond milk notes. On the palate tart and very elegant!
In addition to seeking out old vines and using indigenous grapes, Michael likes to innovate. This is the first and only rosé made with the Cariñena grape in Cariñena and the second of its kind in all of Spain. The wine is made with the care and detail like that of a Champagne, hand harvested using small baskets and whole-bunch lightly pressed into neutral French barriques. It has a fine sunset color and is surprisingly fresh and crisp on the palate. It is a perfect match for raw courses and citrus dishes.
