A spicy viognier that is not overly perfumed. Instead, there is excellent complexity and depth, showing spiced lemons, fine nuts, brioche, nougat and a touch of seaweed. Full-bodied, phenolic and flavorful, with lovely richness and acidity extending to a fresh, lengthy and lightly salty finish. Quite unique and delicious. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but can hold.

We’ve always used a little bit of Viognier with our Garnacha Blanca white wine and it was our friends in Ibiza who suggested that we create a 100% Viognier white wine. We took them up on their idea and decided to create Vedrà fermented in oak barrels and matured on fine lees. It has a perfect balance between the white flower and stone fruit aromas and flavors of Viognier and the texture and creaminess from the oak fermentation and maturation. The wine is named after the island off the coast of Ibiza, Es Vedrà, which is rocky, angular and beautiful to admire, just like our wine.
