Our goal with our Cariñena (Mazuelo) is for the wine to be a pure and honest representation of the grape variety. We are constant students of wine and the vine and we feel that so many Cariñenas (Carignanes) have lost the precision, the transparency of the grape and the terroir, with oak and oxidation. We strive for our Cariñena to share with wine drinkers what the grape really smells and tastes like, a true experience. We ferment in stainless steel and bottle when the wine is youthful and vibrant.
